My father grew up in Philadelphia and introduced my sister and I to philly food. One such philadelphia delicacy was a Goldernberg's Peanut Chew. We could never get them in the midwest so my sister and I would stock up on these candies whenever we visited the east coast. If visitors from the east coast ever came to our house we would request they bring some. These were hard to get and covetted candies of my childhood. Yet for all the difficulty in getting peanut chews in MN they are easy to find in Taiwan. Just more proof of how developed and civilized Taiwan is especially when compared to rural America.
