Shilin Night Market Prix Fixe
We had dinner at Taipei's largest night market. It is a mix of carnival games, clothing stalls and all kinds of street food. A must for any serious street food lover in Taiwan. Here is what we had.
Amuse bouche: BB gun game
First course: Oyster omlette
Second Course: Fried crab halves with mint
Third Course: Buttered scallops on a stick
Salad Course: Cherry tomatoes with preserved plums
Dessert: Shaved milk ice with mango and red beans (similar to the shaved ice we had before but made of milk)
The cost of this meal is a little less than 4 USD per person. C'est Bon.

Did you really eat both those mounds of shaved milk ice? Could you really eat it fast enough to keep it from melting onto the table and dripping onto your pants? Really?
