Southern Food: Desserts (Part 3)

Taiwan is great at cold desserts on hot days. While in the South Lilly and I have had some of our favorites. Above is a shaved ice shop in Kaohsuing across from the ferry station. Here we got shaved ice with fresh mango and flan (it's hard to make out but it's in the center) covered in sweetened condensed milk.

In Anping we had cold tofu pudding with sweet soup and red beans. It had a very strong tofu taste but made a great summer snack.

In downtown Tainan we had shaved ice made from green tea with red beans and vanilla icecream.

Who could ask for anything more?
